Tani is a genuine, kind soul. She welcomed me to her city with, quite literally, open arms. Her personality is bright, and her spirituality is inspiring.

We met at the vintage-inspired café and bar Le Darling, which couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for our conversation.

There were vintage knickknacks and real plants covering every inch of the space, including the large, round bar in the center.

Within the first few minutes of talking to Tani, it became evident that her spiritual nature flows into her clothing choices.

She wants to appear open. She purposefully stays away from dark colors because she believes clothing holds energy. It’s important that her clothing send a positive message before she says anything.

Tani is a perfect example of why not to judge a book by its cover. She has been through hardships and has been able to forgive and continue on with her life.

Resilience is one of my favorite characteristics in a person, and Tani’s shines brightly.

Tani sees her social media presence as a way to inspire others. She frequently posts to her Instagram and loves to engage with followers who ask questions about her different looks.

She helps people style their looks and maximize their wardrobes.

Particularly in the Sikh community where the clothing is beautifully made, but expensive, Tani offers guidance on how to get the most out of your clothing.
