Seeking Recommendations - Montréal

SHOP | État De Style | @etatdestyle

https://etatdestyle.com/

État De Style designs and handcrafts 100% of their women’s clothing line right in Montréal. In fact, you’ll see sewing machines and materials just behind the payment counter in their corner-shop. I purchased a perfume by a Montréal perfumer and I use it daily - now I have a reason to make the trip up again when it runs out.

SHOP | Eva B | @evabvintage

Eva B’s is a step back in time. It’s a Montreal-beloved, funky vintage store stacked high with clothing spanning at least 2 floors. Upon walking into the store, they typically offer a liquor or drink of some sort to enjoy during your shopping adventures. Peep the faux Michael Jackson on the outside of the building. Plus, they sell delectable food.

EAT

COFFEE: Le Darling | @bar.darling

  • “Hot spot with a round bar, vintage decor & late hours offering coffee by day, beer & cider by night.”

BRUNCH: Régine Café | @reginecafe

  • “Upscale, clever breakfast dishes served all day in hip, retro digs with mismatched velvet chairs.”

LUNCH: Le P'tit Rustik | @leptitrustik

  • Cozy, local eatery focused on a few phenomenal dishes.

DINNER: La Colombé | http://lacolombe.ca/

  • “Intimate BYOB with French market cuisine served in set-price, multicourse offerings.”

SPA

BOTA BOTA | @BotaBotaMtl

https://botabota.ca/en/

  • “Historic river ferry turned upscale "floating spa" offering diverse treatments, yoga & a restaurant.”

  • If you’re looking to get a massage, I can’t recommend Bota Bota enough. The massage I had was more medical than relaxing seeing as I was sore for 3 days - but it was worth it. They mean it when they say deep tissue. The pools are lovely.
