(2020) Daily Inspirato Recommendations For Charleston, South Carolina (Where To Eat, Drink, & Thrift)

What To Do In Charleston, South Carolina

  • Eat… if you do nothing else, engorge yourself.

  • Boat Tour: I did the one through Charleston Harbor Tours.

  • Middleton Plantation: This was the highest recommended plantation by Charlestonians. I took the Beyond the Fields: Enslavement at Middleton Place and thought it was very informative.

  • Ghost Tour: I did the haunted tour through Bulldog Tours.

  • Walk on the beach: The Sullivan's Island Nature Trail was my favorite.

  • Walk around town: White Point Garden was great, and so is Joe Riley Waterfront Park.

  • Go to an Estate Sale: You never know what centuries-old antique you’ll find…

  • Watch a Sunrise or Sunset: I have never seen more beautiful sunsets in my life.

Liquor Pops

Like New Orleans, can you drink in public in Charleston? Well, the South does have a way of bending the laws. If you have food with alcohol, then it’s fine. So the liquor pops are totally ok :)
